Dallas Neighborhoods to Explore near the Ryan Dallas office location
ADDISON: Ryan Dallas is located in the Addison area. This is an upscale, clean and SAFE area of Dallas. GREAT location! Addison is fun and known for great restaurants and live music. It’s a very huge area actually. It’s pretty much right by the Ryan office.
FARMERS BRANCH: This is another area just west of the office, about 10-15 minutes away from the office. It’s an older area that has become vibrant and fun for young professionals, with great recently built apartment buildings nearby. It’s a great way to get a new apartment at a reasonable price.
WEST PLANO: West Plano is a very affluent area that has 100s of shops and restaurants to explore (including the Shops at Legacy). It has a lot to do in walking distance. It’s about 15 minutes from the Ryan office. It’s fun for recent grads but it also has a wider range of others that live here.
UPTOWN Dallas!: Many RYAN Dallas grads also look seriously at an area south of Addison called Uptown Dallas. This area is directly connected (just north) to Downtown Dallas. It’s actually a lot more compact and walkable than Uptown, and has a higher concentration of young professionals – nice pluses!!
Uptown Dallas it the #1 most popular area for new & recent grads to live in the Dallas area. Picture something like 6th street in Austin, or the Houston Inner Loop. A place that has restaurants, shops, night life and more, all in walking distance or easily accessible by a free Uptown Dallas trolley. A place that is full of young professionals. That’s Uptown Dallas !
Uptown Dallas is incredibly easy to get around in. There is a free Uptown Trolley that runs from Uptown to Downtown. So it’s easy to live in Uptown Dallas and take the free Uptown Trolley to get to work. No parking costs…and no car even needed!
Uptown Dallas also has a terrific feature for staying fit. It’s the 3.8 mile Katy Trail, a running trail that starts in Victory Park Dallas and extends throughout Uptown Dallas. It’s just a terrific way to get an awesome workout and meet friends as well.
OTHER AREAS: There are other areas to explore nearby such as: Trinity Groves Dallas, Design District Dallas, Knox Henderson Dallas, Deep Ellum Dallas and Bishop Arts Dallas.
