Quick answer
A daytime leasing tour may not show how the area feels during the hours the renter will actually come home. Grant likes narrowing the list during the day, then revisiting the top one or two choices around early evening when practical. That second look can reveal traffic, lighting, parking pressure, restaurant or nightlife activity, garage access, and the atmosphere of the immediate block. Having dinner nearby can be useful because the renter experiences the neighborhood rather than simply driving through it. One leasing appointment should not be the entire neighborhood evaluation.
