Texas Tech University Signs On Pilot Transition Service for Graduating Seniors
Dallas, TX- January 5, 2016 – Texas Tech University has signed an agreement with Homebase Services to provide an innovative student relocation transition service to Red Raider graduating seniors.
The service will be offered initially to TTU seniors working with Whitacre Engineering School – TTU and Rawls Career Services. The pilot will commence with service to the Dallas area. Whitacre and Rawls career staff will be advising students that have accepted offers moving to the Dallas about the service. The service will start working with seniors up to 12 months in advance of their job start date. Plans are to expand the service to other Texas cities after the initial pilot period.
Rawls and Whitacre Alumni personnel are also involved in the pilot. The service will enable them to reach out sooner to graduating seniors to help build their Young Alumni clubs more rapidly.
